Abandoned Villages

During the Covid pandemic I decided to start exploring some of the lesser known areas in Cyprus - namely the abandoned Turkish Cypriot settlements and villages that were deserted following the internal strife of the 60s and 70s on the island. Not much is known about these places, and they have almost vanished completely both physically and in the memories of people on both sides of the divide. This is my attempt at capturing those lost livelihoods and stories in these places.
